Last Saturday, I was just pulling into our road in Sunningdale, when I noticed 4 strange lights in the sky above my garage. I watched for a while and realised that it wasn’t stars. I then started to video the event on my iPhone. The lights hung there for a while and then the lower two dimmed and I then saw then move off towards the north quite quickly (faster than a small plane could fly). The highest one then dimmed and went straight up into the sky and disappeared. The last one stay in place for a little while longer and then also dimmed and moved off towards the north following the first two. The video clearly shows the lights and then the dimming but unfortunately it was too dark for the video to capture the movements north and upwards into the sky. Let me know if you want the video. Ok, so I was sitting on my front porch at about 4am on the 21st March 2014 with a house mate when she pointed out to me a large star sitting low in the sky. She said she had seen it before on other mornings at around the same time. It looked like a star but looked about 5 times bigger than the biggest star I had ever seen. As we watched we saw it sway side to side as it slowly travelled higher in the sky. It was obviously very far away so the movement looked slow though I figure it was probably moving at a massive speed. I know that it is not a star and I’m extremely curious to find out exactly what it is. It appears once every couple of days around the same time and in the same area.

It happened at around 8 – 9pm on 15 March, my family and I reside in Grassy Park and we had seen these lights at a distance from our house, looking towards the south direction. The lights were flashing fast, in a sort of pattern form, quite big and round. It looked as though it was fireworks at a glance, but no sound was heard, and there wasn’t any sparks or smoke accompanying these flashes. Continue Reading…

I just witnessed a possible UFO siting. I saw an object about the size of a dim star. At first I thought it was an aeroplane but it wasn’t flasing and it was moving way too fast to be a plane. It went across the sky quite fast so I thought it was a meteor but I saw it again a few minutes later coming from the same place in the opposite ditection. This repeated several times until it eventually stopped. It was completely silent.

I noticed a light in the sky at 5.18am. It was bright and not a star. There was total cloud cover. I thought it moved but wasn’t sure. I took a picture. The light moved approx 30mtrs to the right and I took a second picture. It then moved back into the clouds and I lost sight if it. It was silent and moved resonably fast. Continue Reading…

On 08-02-14 we were driving to Grandwest in Goodwood. My daughter all of a sudden says “daddy I see sparkly things in the sky” I tried looking and at first couldn’t see anything. My wife also couldn’t see anything, then eventually I managed to see these things that looked like stars in the sky, only they were moving, disappearing, reappearing moving in different directions. I rushed to find a parking spot so I could get a better look. I looked up and there were so many of them I could not count. Some were close to one another, some looked like they were together and then moved apart from one another. Continue Reading…

It’s probably a satellite, but I spotted a moving and flashing “brightly” object in the sky. I’ve got a app on my phone which shows satellites but the app showed nothing near. Spotted from Marquard, Free State at 21:19. Sorry this might sound like silly questions, but can you still see satellites at this time of night and do they flash?

Report: My friend and I met for drinks at the popular Oyster Box hotel last friday. We were on the deck facing the sea when I was looking up at the stars and noticed a very bright star moving across the sky. It was too slow for a shooting star and moved differently and faster to be a satellite.
It definitely wasn’t an aircraft, it was too high for one and it had no additional flickering lights. Just solid bright white light. It looks like the photos from the PMB sighting on the 16th June earlier this yr. I turned away and a few seconds later looked up, it was now gone suddenly. I answered a call from my excited husband who was calling to check if I had seen the UFO he had seen from our Umhlanga home. It moved from left towards to the right and then suddenly outward to the ocean and as gradually as it moved in the start it disappeared suddenly. Very odd and no one else has reported it. Did anyone else see this? It was around 6pm.

I was driving back from the Brass Bell bar in St James and when I was driving over Boys Drive I saw a object that seemed to look like a shooting star. It passed by, it changed direction and did a zig zag and vanished. About 3 months before that my mother was outside and she looked up to the mountain and she saw 3 of the exact same things I saw and they all did some kind of manouver and vanished. Of course it all seems like a lot of nonsense but it is true.
