This is internet’s number one place to discuss everything related to UFOs in South Africa. You can ask questions, share interesting things, tell stories, help others, or just hang around and talk to people. To get things going… How about we all introduce ourselves? :) Please keep the discussion civil!

Hello everyone. My name is Cristelle. I live in The Helderberg area, Western Cape and have an awesome view of False bay and surrounding mountains. I observe ufo's almost on a daily bases but keep it to myself for obvious reasons. I am excited about this forum for the fact that we can share experiences without being ridiculed. Seeing that Ufo activity or should I say ufo awareness is on the rise, I hope that this forum will be packed with people wanting to share info and learn more from our "space natives." Much love

Hi all. My name is Gamli'el and I live in Centurion; Pretoria. I never saw a UFO before but I personally know a lady who saw a UFO when she was younger. She is however skeptic about her encounter and the existence of aliens. I'm a firm believer in ETs and is a follower of the teachings by Zecharia Sitchin. I'm looking to meet people and make friends to discuss the Anunnaki (Planet Nibiru), ETs, UFOs, Space science/travel/colonization etc. And I'm a huge fan of science-fiction (movies, TV-shows and books). Peace. :)

Good day everyone, my name is Razell. My interest into Ufology (and the Paranormal) really kicked off in 2011 after I filled in an online questionnaire, called "Brad Steiger's paranormal questionnaire." My mother passed away in April 2009 after battling cancer for years. Due to other (familial and financial issues) it was a very difficult time for me personally until I had an extremely realistic dream. While drifting off early one night in July 2009 I found myself being comforted by a man immersed in light, perhaps a "light being." To avoid taboos, angelic cliches, other (New-Age) conclusions or getting off topic I prefer not to divulge details concerning the dream, I will concede that it turned out to be of an (elated) intimate nature. Although the dream didn't last very long it left a strong enough impression on me to fill in the questionnaire in an effort to make sense of it. Only while answering "Brad Steiger's paranormal questionnaire" I came to realize that two strange incidents I experienced in 2000 were probably related: The following happened around wi nter of the year 2000 outside Randfontein in the West Rand of Gauteng. I was 22 years old at the time. While driving home from work around 17:30 pm I witnessed plus minus 30-50 yellowish-white lights with the size and appearance of bright stars (for eg. Venus.) This happened at the "corner of Main rd. and Road 5, Hillside agricultural holdings, Randfontein. The formation moved slowly, flashing in a gigantic, horizontal, figure eight sequence - spanning roughly 10 - 20 kilometres, although it might less. It was difficult to make an estimation of the exact span, because the size of the formation (and distance between each light) was moving and increasing all at once. Some eye-witnesses were standing outside and in the streets. It was evening and cloudy even though it was winter, therefore I just wanted to get home. The duration of the sighting while I drove past it was about 3 minutes long, therefore I don't know for how long the entire display lasted before or after I saw it. I thought about the incident many times throughout the years and do not know of any known aircraft capable of those maneuvers. The fact that it was moving in a figure-8 shows intelligence behind the formation, therefore it can't be a meteorological phenomenon. To my knowledge no other eye-witnesses came forward in regards to this sighting. On the 21st of September 2000 it appeared I was being followed by a tall blond man twice in one week. He was about the same age as I was then, perhaps younger. He had short blond hair in a messed-up-long-fringe style, very tall, with incredibly perfect features and wearing completely black (overall type clothing) on both instances. I saw him across the street, opposite my grandmother's house and he followed me when I went to fetch my three year old baby brother from the creche a few hundred metres away from my gran's house. He asked me my name twice in a very softspoken, friendly voice from across the street, but I ignored him. He then asked me if he's making me blush! I quickly shook my head in the negative, gave him a quick glance and felt relieved when I entered the pre-school's premises. When I was about to return with my brother he waited for me across the street and asked me my name again. I did not answer him, instead kept walking back to my gran's house. What I felt was was a mixture of being wary and self-conscious. A black car (either "Ford Capri" or "Ford Granada,") suddenly appeared around the corner and left when the blond boy got into the backseat of the vehicle. The Ford's windows was tinted black as well. Three days later on the 24th of September, I saw him at the Spar supermarket in another suburb of Randfontein, although not too far from my gran's home. He walked past me and my gran in a groceries aisle, wearing long, black trousers, black shoes, and a black shirt (almost like an overall.) He also asked me my name again. I ignored him, not just because I was shy due to the fact that he was friendly and handsome, but also because the otherworldly quality about him left me feeling somewhat intimidated. He smiled and just walked past me. My gran did not hear, nor notice him. I've been residing in the northern suburbs of Cape Town for the past two and a half years. Apparently the Cape point area is a UFO hotbed. Can't wait to have my first sighting here.

Hi Gamli'el, yes the sighting was strange indeed. I do want to point out though that the lights dit not flash like aeroplane lights, it flashed in "sequence." For instance if you were to draw the number "8" horizontally, with your index finger pointing towards the sky, not by drawing a straight line, but by making "dots," for example". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . " from right to left (anti-clockwise,) you will be able to tell how the display appeared. Around "3-6" ligts flashed per second, clearly forming an eight, covering the entire southern hemisphere from my point of view. I painted a wall mural for the above mentioned creche during the latter part of the year 2000. The exterior wall was around 75 meters long. The project therefore lasted quite a while. Because of this I were familiar with many people in that part of Randfontein and I knew most of the people residing in the street. I also knew who used to cross the street and when, for instance schoolchildren and people coming from and going to work. I never saw the "MIB" before the 21st of September 200 0 or after the 24th of September 2000. On a different note, I read (and own) the books "Slave species of god" by Michael Tellinger and "The cosmic code" by Sitchen and listened to more than a dozen of their interviews (mostly "Coast to coast am.) I've also read "Chariots of the gods" and "Gold of the gods" by Erich von Däniken. Even though I do try to be as unbiased as possible, keep an open mind and believe that we are being visited by other intelligences I'm not entirely convinced that the Annunaki was "ancient astronauts." We tend to have a very literal interpretation of ancient literature, whereas the ancients often conveyed "Astrotheological" thoughts and ideas into their monuments and writing. They "anthropomorphised" stars and planets, the sky, mountains, the sea etc. and saw the universe in "fractal" terms, for instance "As above so below, as within so without." In my view mysticism (including "altered states of consciousness") played a major role too. I do not think "Sitchen" bothered to take these into account much. Take for instance the symbol of the "intertwined serpents," aka the "Caduceus," "Aaron's rod" and the brazen serpent. Sitchen and Tellinger interpret this as meaning to represent "DNA." It very well may be if looked at in "fractal" terms, although in India they know her as "Shakti" or the "Kundalini fire." In the Amazon jungle, during Ayahuasca ceremonies shamans have encounters with a similar "serpentine" entity. I understand this is the same being that was depicted as the Meso-American god "Quetzalcoatl" and in the headdresses of some ancient sculptures of the Buddha and Pharaoh. This ties in with the temptation of Adam and Eve by the serpent. The symbol represents the union of matter and spirit (Yin and Yang,) the male and female principals within each and every one of us. In esoteric thought this is what happens during the opening of the seven "chakras." Forgive me for saying so, but this "healing, miracle working force" is also extremely active in many churches, for instance Baptismal and Pentecostal. It is the "Holy-Spirit." To me the ancients spoke in rather mystical terms. I do not believe the Sumerians were any different. That said, through my research, I came to suspect that there might be (a somewhat sinister) as yet unidentified society, perhaps a preserved, subterranean remnant of an advanced culture. I do not know if they are alien, but they seem to be human, perhaps "Heidelbergensis" - a lost human "cousin" species. Some of the naturally occuring elongated skulls possibly belonged to them. According to the informants of some conspiracy theorists, like "Jordan Maxwell," some of these men and women with large craniums, have appeared at secret meetings with "Top world bankers." Some have even speculated that Hitler was not refering to his "Aryan race" when he said: He is here! I will tell you a secret. I have seen the vision of the new man – fearless and formidable. I shrank from him." These same humans might very well be the "gods" that built the ancient "megaliths," and may be the so called "Nordic" aliens occupying a great many of the UFOs we see around the world. In my opinion they may also be very "terrestrial," explaining why many UFOs enter mountains or the sea and not necessarily space. There is no reason why an ancient, advanced culture would not settle underground if they could, to avoid a pending cataclysm, or to set up base on Mars and beyond. If they returned after millennia from say "Alpha centauri," they will certainly seem "alien" to us. In spite of their advanced technology or seemingly nuts and bolts UFOs, I tend to take an overall "Paranormal" view of the phenomena, in other words we are dealing with quantum beings, operating outside our "Laws of physics."
