A typical highveld thunder storm, so we thought. As it took shape it became almost saucer shaped. It got real low down on the ground and was surrounded by a light fog.
The wind was coming from behind us toward the storm and then the whole centre of this very odd shaped low lying cloud began to glow this peculiar aqua marine/blue hue. All was very quiet for a big storm such as this. The other odd thing was the enormous ammount of lightning and no rain. Continue Reading…

I decided to go sit outside a bit star gazing. 5 minutes outside I was lying on my back looking at stars when from my left top vision area I spotted a satellite. Haven’t seen one of those in a while. Then my mind went, wait… it’s green?? Then I noticed its flashing?? It came from a Southern direction towards the West…. Continue Reading…

On 11 September 2013, at 7.30 am on my way to work, I took a pic of the central cloud because I thought it looked like an angel. I only noticed the spots on the right when I uploaded my pics onto my computer in Dec 2013. Im not sure if it is a UFO or not. Looks like there could be two. I took the pics on the M1 East going to Johannesburg CBD. Continue Reading…
This report might be a little bit late as I didn’t know and was not sure what I saw (I had an idea) that morning until I read stories about the same type of phenomena!
It happened one morning (I was in the military) when I and other fellow soldiers was awakened by a senior officer so that we must go outside, fall in formation and ready ourselves for a morning PT session, It was still dark then, when I and a friend of mine were standing in formation next to each other and just by coincidence I was looking at the stars when I saw these lights moving. At first I though it was a plane, and then I thought but planes most of the times had coloured lights and it was too far off, and then I thought it was a satellite, but 3 satellites moving in an orderly fashion in a type triangle formation, moving quite slowly and not making a sound for about five to ten minutes heading south or south west?! What really bothered me was when the lights just disappeared. My friend also saw this and we were really astonished. I didn’t take any pictures or tell anyone else until I saw a documentary about the same three lights moving together in a strong triangle formation with no sound, and that’s when I realised it, that was probably looking at a UFO.
This happened in June or July 2010 at about 05h00, it was a long time ago so I cannot remember the exact date now. The place was in Wonderboom in Pretoria next to the Wonderboom Airport.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Sorry I didn’t take any pictures because I wasn’t taking it that serious and we weren’t allowed to have I cameras with us that time.
But the picture I attached is exactly how it looked like that morning.
Thank you very much

I received an MMS from my Father, a photo of what he believed could have been a UFO / sighting over Bedforview (26/09/2013). My Father and I last saw a UFO back in 1992/3 in the Roodepoort area.
I played with the image on my phone but could not perfect the picture. It does however resemble a strange shape unlike that of a star or a plane.
I still have the image on my phone but I’m not sure to what extent the image can be scrutinized?

I arrived at a friend of mine for new years eve party arrived about 23:15 and he told me about this light he saw. As he showed me a photo on his phone, we looked up and to my disbelief it was the same oval
shape red light moving faster than a plane, in the direction to Malmesbury. It was visible for us from Van der stel Street, Paarl East to be specific but no sound could be heard. It was moving near Paarl
mountain, from 23:30 to about 23:55 when it started to fade.

I sighted an orange moving light in the sky over my house in Port Alfred, Eastern cape.
At 23h58 I went outside to look at the New Year fireworks, when I spotted 2 more of these lights in the sky moving in a westerly direction. More lights came, following the same path of the first two. I lost count after I counted 18 lights. This is the second sighting I have had in this area. The objects were soundless and kept going west in a steady fashion.

Me and my wife noticed several bright orange lights moving in a western direction, they were moving much faster than the normal planes and no sound was heard. Saw some of them earlier at about 9 O’clock moving from east to south then at about 23:00. Saw a hole bunch of them moving together towards the west. Can anyone explain these weird lights? I tried to look through a telescope but they were too fast.

It’s probably a satellite, but I spotted a moving and flashing “brightly” object in the sky. I’ve got a app on my phone which shows satellites but the app showed nothing near. Spotted from Marquard, Free State at 21:19. Sorry this might sound like silly questions, but can you still see satellites at this time of night and do they flash?

What looked like a flare shot up on the south horizon and flew all the way to the north horizon altering course twice. I called the wife and she witnessed this with me. We sat outside and watched the night sky seeing 4 more units following the same route spaced about 1 mins apart. Did anyone else see this???
